Configuring GenAI Settings

The GenAI Settings page provides the following configuration settings to customize how GenAI entitlement descriptions are generated for your organization:

  • Context for GenAI - Add key-value pairs specific to the context of your tenant to improve the accuracy of suggested entitlement descriptions.
  • GenAI Description Regeneration - Configure description regeneration to allow suggested and approved descriptions to be overwritten.

Adding Key-Value Pairs

Use the UI to introduce the acronyms or abbreviations that you use in your organization so GenAI can understand and use them when generating entitlement descriptions.

Add up to 100 key-value pairs. The context keys can be 2-60 characters, and their values can be defined with 1-500 characters.

  1. Go to Admin > Global > System Settings.
  2. Select Feature Settings from the left navigation.
  3. Under Feature Settings, select GenAI, and use the fields in the Context for GenAI section to enter terms and values in the Context Key and Value fields.
  4. Select Add to add an entry to the list.
  5. To delete an entry, select the delete icon next to it.
  6. When you are finished entering a batch of key-value pairs, select Save.
  7. A success message lets you know that the GenAI settings have been updated.
  8. There may be a brief delay while your recent changes are applied. If someone attempts to use the description while the list is being regenerated, an error message will inform them that it is not available.
  9. New context entries appear on the Context for GenAI table.

Configuring GenAI Description Regeneration

Suggested and approved entitlement descriptions can be regenerated and overwritten to keep your descriptions fresh and up to date.

To enable entitlement description regeneration:

  1. Go to Admin > Global > Feature Settings.
  2. Select GenAI from the left navigation.
  3. Under GenAI Description Regeneration, select whether to overwrite suggested or approved suggestions, or both.
  4. Select Overwrite Suggested Descriptions to regenerate existing suggested descriptions. This can help refresh older descriptions.
  5. Select Overwrite Approved Descriptions to regenerate existing approved descriptions. When you later regenerate, the descriptions will be in a suggested status and require approval.
  6. Select Save.
