Enabling Requests for Others

Users can automatically submit access requests for themselves. However, you can also specify whether your site allows users to request access for others.

  1. Go to Admin > Global > System Settings.

  2. Select Feature Settings from the left panel.

  3. Under Feature Settings, select Access Requests, and select Enable Requests on Behalf of others to enable it.

  4. Select By Managers for their Team or By Everyone for Anyone, depending on who should have the ability to make access requests for others.

    • By Managers for their Team only allows managers to make requests for their direct reports.
    • By Everyone for Anyone allows all users to make requests for any other user.
  5. Select Save to save and enable this change.

The designated users can now submit access requests for others.
