Identity States Overview

When you create or edit a lifecycle state, you can configure the state that identities in the lifecycle state will be assigned. Identities in specific identity states will be excluded from some features and processes throughout Identity Security Cloud. For example, identities in an Inactive state will not appear as selections in the Request Center, team members on the My Team page, or options in many features or processes.

The following table shows the areas identities will appear based on their identity state.
