  • Review Vidyard dashboard for unusual video uploads or changes to existing content
  • Check API access logs for unexpected API calls or access patterns
  • Monitor for unusual video sharing or embedding activities
  • Review account settings for unauthorized changes to API configurations
  • Check for unexpected integrations with third-party services

Mitigation Instructions:

  • Log in to your Vidyard account at https://platform.vidyard.com/
  • Navigate to Settings > API

  • Locate the compromised API key

  • Click "Revoke" or "Delete" to invalidate the key

  • Generate a new API key if needed
  • Update the API key in all legitimate applications and services
  • Review and update security settings, including IP restrictions if available
  • Enable two-factor authentication for all admin accounts
  • Review user access permissions and remove unnecessary privileges
