Remote File System Troubleshooting and Validation

Validation After Onboarding

  1. In the SailPoint Entro Dashboard

    Navigate to Management → Accounts & Integrations → Remote File System

  2. Confirm Integration Status

    Confirm that the integration status shows Verified.

  3. Verify Last Sync

    Open the connection details to verify the Last Sync Timestamp.

  4. Check Scan Results

    Check that results appear in Secrets Inventory for scanned shares.

Common Issues

Access Denied Service account lacks read access Ensure the account has read permissions
Connection Timeout Incorrect IP, port, or network restriction Verify port and network connectivity
Invalid Credentials Wrong username or password Re‑enter the correct domain and credentials
Worker Group Offline Connector not active Restart connector or contact support
