Trello

SaaS Management integrates directly with Trello, so you can view all user activity within the application. The integration gives you the usage data you need to make informed decisions on inactive licenses and any renewal or purchasing options. SaaS Management pulls data each time a user changes an issue in Trello, so you can see which users are active.

Integrating with Trello

You must have admin access in Trello to integrate the application with SaaS Management.

  1. From the SaaS Management navigation menu, select Integrations.
  2. Select the Trello tile.
  3. Select Add Integration.
  4. Review the permissions SaaS Management needs to report on your license utilization.

    Enterprises Read Read basic enterprise information
    Boards and Workspaces Read View the enterprise event stream
    Workspace's Power-Ups      Read Read Workspace power ups
  5. After you've reviewed the requested access, select Log in.

  6. On the Trello login page, enter your credentials and select Log in.
  7. Select Allow to complete the integration.

Your Trello usage data will start syncing immediately and should finish within 24 hours.

Required Permissions

Trello users need Admin permissions to integrate the application with SaaS Management.

Requested Scopes

SaaS Management requests the following scopes:

Scopes Description
Read Reading of boards, organizations, etc. on behalf of the user
Account Read member email, writing of member info, and marking notifications read

User Metadata

SaaS Management pulls the following user metadata from Trello. You can filter your usage data by these fields:

Field Description
Name The user's name.
Email The user's email address.
User Created The date the user was created in Trello.
Activity Blocked Indicates whether the user is blocked from performing actions or activities. If true, the user cannot perform actions in Trello.
Note: This field is only available for Trello Enterprise accounts.
Confirmed Indicates whether the user has verified their account in Trello.
Enterprise Roles The user's roles in Trello Enterprise.
Note: This field is only available for Trello Enterprise accounts.
Member Type The type of member the user is.
Non Public Available    Indicates whether the user is visible to the public. If true, the user is not publicly available.
Note: This field is only available for Trello Enterprise accounts.
Owned by Enterprise Indicates whether the user’s account is controlled by Trello Enterprise.
Note: This field is only available for Trello Enterprise accounts.
Status The user's status in Trello.
Note: This field is only available for Trello Enterprise accounts.
