The SaaS Management and Xero API integration gives you visibility into your company's software subscriptions, helping you make informed decisions that will reduce SaaS spend. For example, you can review how much your organization spent on Xero subscriptions within a year.
Integrating with Xero
You must have admin access in Xero to integrate the application with SaaS Management.
Before you integrate the applications, make sure you have signed out of your individual account within your organization and are signed in to the appropriate service account with the required permissions.
- From the SaaS Management navigation menu, select Integrations.
- Select the Xero tile.
- Select Add Integration.
- On the Xero login page, enter your credentials and select Log in. SaaS Management uses Xero's security architecture, so we don't see your passwords or any sensitive logins.
In the new window, review the requested permissions. SaaS Management requests the following access:
- Organization data - Read access to your business transactions. We only report on software spend in the dashboard and ignore all other payments.
- User account information - Read access to your name, email, and user profile.
Select Allow access to accept the requested permissions and complete the integration.
