Upgrading IdentityIQ Microsoft Teams
Note
Perform these steps only if you had installed IdentityIQ application in Microsoft Teams during IdentityIQ 8.3 or 8.4 and want to upgrade it to use its latest features.
Latest IdentityIQ application in Microsoft Teams enables the users to receive notifications for Access Request Approval work item and allows them to approve the requests on the application itself.
Use the following information to upgrade IdentityIQ application in Microsoft Team to the latest version. After your upgrade is complete refer Using IdentityIQ Microsoft Teams[Link needed] for information on the latest features and functionality.
The upgrade process contains the following steps:

Uninstall the existing IdentityIQ application in Microsoft Teams.

Create a new connector group, if needed. Refer to Creating a New Connector Group in Azure[Link required] for detailed instructions.

Create an SSO Entra Application Proxy in Azure. Refer to Creating an SSO Entra Application Proxy in Azure[Link needed] for detailed instructions.

Create an Azure Active Directory application in IdentityIQ and configure it with details from various applications. Refer to Creating an Azure Active Directory Application in IdentityIQ[Link needed] for detailed instructions.

Create and configure SSO Provider Application. Refer to C**onfiguring Single Sign-On to IdentityIQ from Microsoft Teams**[Link needed] for detailed instructions.
Note
Creating and configuring of SSO Provider application was optional for previous versions of the IdentityIQ application. Ignore this step, if you had created and configured SSO provide application earlier.

Create a Chat Application Proxy in Azure. Refer to Creating a Chat Application Proxy for IdentityIQ in Azure[Link needed] for detailed instructions.

Update Azure Bot by changing the Messaging Endpoint and some additional settings in Add OAuth Connection Settings. Refer to Step 6 in Creating an Azure Bot for IdentityIQ's Microsoft Teams[Link needed] for detailed instructions.

Install and configure the IdentityIQ service code. Refer to Installing and Configuring the IdentityIQ Service Code[Link needed] for detailed instructions.
Note
Reuse the cert directory and BOT_HOME environment that were created during previous configuration.

Create a Microsoft Team manifest. Refer to Creating a Microsoft Teams Manifest for detailed instructions.

Enable Microsoft Teams notifications. Refer to Enabling Microsoft Teams Notifications in IdentityIQ[Link needed] for detailed instructions.

Install the latest IdentityIQ application in Microsoft Teams client. Refer to Installing the IdentityIQ Application in Microsoft Teams[Link needed] for detailed instructions.
