Introduction to Identity Microsoft Teams

IdentityIQ application in Microsoft Teams allows notifications from IdentityIQ to be delivered directly to their Microsoft Teams environment, and allows end users to approve access requests on the go.

Access Request Approval Work Item Notifications

IdentityIQ now supports adaptive card notifications for Access Request Approval work items directly in Microsoft Teams. These notifications include a My Approvals button, which opens the My Approvals tab within Microsoft Teams. From there, users can review and take action on pending access requests – without needing to switch to IdentityIQ. [Add Image]

Other Notifications

Any IdentityIQ notification can be sent as a Microsoft Teams notification and can include a link to the relevant area or action within IdentityIQ. With SAML-based Single sign-on (SSO) enabled, authenticated Microsoft Teams users can directly access IdentityIQ from links contained within the notifications, to take actions in IdentityIQ, without a separate login to IdentityIQ.
