Managing Emergency Access
When users need elevated permissions to perform sensitive tasks, including monitoring and reviewing system activities, they can request access using Emergency Access Management (EAM).
For emergency access to be granted, a Requestor or Profile Owner must use a pre-configured access profile to define the permissions and participants of the request on the EAM Dashboard. Review participants can then view the request as it moves through each stage, as well as export emergency access reports.
EAM automates and tracks the approving of requests, as well as the provisioning and revocation of access. Actions taken during a period of elevated access are collected and reviewed to determine whether the access was used appropriately.
Once access profiles are configured, you can create a request using the EAM Dashboard by selecting EMERGENCY ACCESS NEW in the Access Risk Management.
