SailPoint Accelerated Application Management

SailPoint Accelerated Application Management (SAAM) provides visibility into the applications that are running in your environment. This includes commercial business applications like Salesforce and Workday, applications developed in house, and unsanctioned applications, often referred to as shadow IT applications.

To get started, you must configure your Identity Provider and connect to SAAM to provide visibility into SaaS usage and risk in your organization.

Next, you must deploy the browser extension in your environment to discover user-related activities. Note that the browser extension does not distinguish between a user’s personal activities and business activities, and will capture personal activities conducted using any browser in which the extension is deployed. It is your responsibility to ensure that the collection and use of personal activity data complies with applicable law and contract terms. Please contact your legal department with any questions.

Once you have connected to your Identity Provider and deployed the browser extension, you can view inventories of the applications, user accounts, and accounts in your environment discovered by the SAAM browser extension and IdP connector.
