Connection Settings

In this section you will configure the direct connection between the application and IdentityIQ by defining the authentication type and providing credentials to establish a secure connection.

1. In the Connection Timeout field, specify a timeout value in minutes. The default value is 1 minute.

2. Under Authentication Type select Basic or OAuth 2.0 authentication. The fields will change based on the option you choose:

   • Connecting SailPoint with Basic Authentication

   • Authenticating SailPoint with Salesforce using OAuth 2.0

     • Enter the OAuth 2.0 Token URL. If the Salesforce source is configured to use OAuth 2.0 authentication, the following URL is used to generate access token by default:

       https://login.salesforce.com/services/oauth2/token

     • Grant Type: Password

     • Grant Type: JWT

     • Grant Type: Refresh Token
