Configuring the Sunset Date
ServiceNow admins have the ability to configure the Sunset (Expiration) Date field in ServiceNow as mandatory or non-mandatory while requesting access. The Global Sunset Date field provides the ability to make changes in all requested line items.
Note
Prior to version 3.0, the Sunset Date field in ServiceNow was non-mandatory.
Color legend for the sunset date icon:

Red - Mandatory and empty

Grey - Non-mandatory and empty

Primary Color of the ServiceNow instance - Sunset date field has a date value.
How to enable comment configuration:

Go to SailPoint Identity Security Cloud for Service Catalog > Setup.

Go to settings with the label, Is Sunset Date Mandatory for Access Requests?

The default is No. Select the option for Yes to impose this field as mandatory.

Users have the ability to copy the Sunset Date across all line items using the Global Sunset Date functionality.

The calendar icon in the top right of the page is the Global Sunset Date field. A change made in this field will reflect the same text to the comment fields of all the line items on the page.
Note
Any changes made to individual line items will be overwritten by making edits in the Global Sunset Date field. -
