Creating a Profile to Provision New Accounts

SailPoint provisions new accounts based on the way attributes are mapped on the Accounts > Create Profile page. The information on this page serves as instructions or a template for what information to include in the account. This is also known as the provisioning policy.

If the default attribute mapping configuration doesn't meet your specific requirements, you can edit it. SailPoint recommends that you work with Services if you need assistance, to ensure accounts are provisioned as expected.

The following table outlines how account attributes are used to create a profile for new SAP GRC accounts:

Account Attribute	Identity Attribute	Description
User ID	Create Unique Account ID	The identity of the user
Last Name	Identity Attribute	The last name of the user
First Name	Identity Attribute	The first name of the user
System	Static	You must enter the name of the system to which user is connected
Manager ID	Static	The manager identity of the user
User Type	Static	The type of the user
Email	Identity Attribute	The email address of the user
