Connection Settings

The following information is required for SailPoint to connect and interact with SAP Ariba SaaS.

Select Connection Settings from the menu.
In Base URL, enter the host URL of the SAP Cloud Identity Services Tenant.
In System ID, enter the ID of the SAP IPS Proxy system created for SAP Ariba Applications. You can get the system ID from the URL.

For example, https://<BASE_URL>/admin/#/proxySystems/<System ID>/
In Client ID and Client Secret, enter the SAP IPS technical user credentials as mentioned in Prerequisites.
Select the Realm Type:
- Select Parent Realm to manage general information, additional information and entitlements of the account.
- Select Child Realm to manage additional information and entitlements of the account.
  
  Note
  Select Manage General Information to update the general information of accounts created in the child realm. This option is only applicable for the child realm. General Information updates are only allowed in SAP Ariba for users that are directly created in the Child Realm and not replicated from the Parent Realm.
Select Save.
