High Level Architecture

This architecture diagram illustrates the core components of the Robotic Process Automation connector.

SailPoint uses the RPA connector to request identity data for aggregation or request changes for provisioning.
The RPA connector communicates to the RPA platform (e.g., UiPath) to run jobs or read data.
The RPA platform runs bots/processes that connect to the disconnected applications. In doing so, it collects or updates the identity-related data from the disconnected applications as requested.
Finally, the data or status flows back: Disconnected application > RPA Platform > RPA Connector > SailPoint.
