Pass Through Authentication

Configure Pass Through Authentication on existing Web Services.

1. Add AUTHENTICATE in the featureString of the application Debug page.

   For more information, refer to Keywords.

2. Add the Pass Through Authentication operation in Web Services application.

   This operation performs verification of user credentials provided from the Login page or IdentityIQ Console.

3. Add the isGetObjectRequiredForPTA entry key with value as true in the application Debug page.

4. (Optional) If you need to configure error messages for Pass Through Authentication, use the following entry keys:

   • objectNotFoundErrorMsg

   • authenticationFailedErrorMsg

   • expiredPasswordErrorMsg
