Default Approval Definitions

Perform the following steps to set up generic approvals.

Go to SailPoint IdentityIQ for Service Catalog > Approval Rules and create two records:
- SailPoint IIQ Owner Approval with the IdentityIQ Owner approval type
- SailPoint ServiceNow Manager Approval with ServiceNow Manager approval type.
Add the following to the description text:

Generic Rule provided by SailPoint

Configure as per your business requirements
Go to SailPoint IdentityIQ for Service Catalog > Approval Definitions and create four records:
- Two for the Role Access Object Type with the name SAILPOINT DEFAULT ROLE DEFINITION.
- Two for the Entitlement Access Object Type with the name SAILPOINT DEFAULT ENTITLEMENT DEFINITION.
Set the order for the SailPoint ServiceNow Manager Approval to 100.
Set the order for the IdentityIQ Owner to 200.

To enable generic approvals, go to the SailPoint IdentityIQ for Service Catalog > Setup and enable the option for Generic Approval Definition Enabled (Applicable if Configurable Approvals selected for Approval Flow).
