Aggregating Business Catalogs

If you want to aggregate business catalogs assigned to the business roles during entitlement aggregation, you need to configure Additional Connection Settings.

1. Create a communication user including communication system and communication arrangement.

   If you have already created a communication user with basic authentication, you can use the same communication user and communication system for business catalogs. You need to only create a new communication arrangement with SAP_COM_0A04 communication scenario for aggregating business catalogs. For more information, refer to Step 2.

   If you have used certificate based authentication, you will need to follow all the steps to create a communication user with basic authentication specifically for aggregating business catalogs, including communication system and communication arrangement with SAP_COM_0A04 communication scenario. For more information, refer to Required Permissions.

2. Create communication arrangement with SAP_COM_0A04 communication scenario.

   Following are the steps for creating communication arrangement with communication scenario SAP_COM_0A04 for aggregating business catalogs:

   1. Search and select the Communications Arrangements tile on the homepage.

   2. Select New to create a new communication arrangement.

   3. Select communication scenario SAP_COM_0A04.

   4. Select Create and update the arrangements in accordance with your requirements.

   5. Select the Communication System you previously created in Steps for creating a communication system.

   6. Select Save.

Steps for finding Host URL required for SAP_COM_0A04

After creating SAP_COM_0A04, under Inbound Services, refer to the service URL provided infront of Business Role - Read service and use it up to ondemand.com.

For example, if the service URL is

 https://my1234-api.scmibp1.ondemand.com/sap/opu/odata4/sap/aps_iam_api_brole_read/srvd_a2x/sap/businessrole/0001/

the Host URL will be:

 https://my1234-api.scmibp1.ondemand.com
