Troubleshooting
If you encounter any of the following issues or errors, SailPoint recommends that you follow the guidance provided below to resolve the error before contacting SailPoint Support.

All the roles assigned to the users are not getting aggregated.
Resolution: Ensure that all the roles that need to be managed by the SAP Portal source must have the scope assigned that was created in the Register a Client Application phase. Refer to the Prerequisites section.

During aggregation when SAP Portal Server is connected to Active Directory/LDAP Server, the following error message appears:
Reason: java.lang.NullPointerException
Resolution: Undeploy the existing sailpoint_ume.sda file and deploy the new sailpont_ume.sda file. For more information, see Prerequisites.

Aggregation fails with the following error message:
Connector failed, sailpoint.connector.ConnectorException: Error while testing connection. sailpoint.connector.ConnectorException: Invalid request
This error message appears due to .sda file version mismatch.
Resolution: Ensure that the versions of .sda file matches the versions according to IdentityIQ version. For more information, see Prerequisites.

Test Connection fails with the following error message:
Failed to retrieve client for current request
Resolution: Ensure that the URL configured is in the http://host:port
format.

Resolution: Ensure that the all the roles that must be managed by SailPoint should have the scope assigned that was created under Register a Client Application.
