IdentityIQ for Oracle Identity Manager Overview

This chapter provides a guide to the integration between Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) and IdentityIQ. This chapter is intended for Oracle and IdentityIQ System Administrators and assumes a high degree of technical knowledge.

SailPoint’s Oracle Identity Manager integration is designed to integrate with Oracle Identity Manager and provide complete access management of accounts and entitlements of the OIM user and connected target application account.

This integration is available in following versions :

  • IdentityIQ for Oracle Identity Manager Version 1: Connection via OIM Integration Web Application

  • Identity IQ for Identity Manager Version 2 : Connection via Oracle Identity Manager API

IdentityIQ for Oracle Identity Manager Version 1 has been scheduled for deprecation on 31st December, 2023. Please use the newly rolled out IdentityIQ for Oracle Identity Manager V2 version.

  • Enhanced deployment approach for the Oracle Identity Manager Web application. The old approach to deploying the Oracle Identity Manager Web application is being deprecated.

  • Supports Oracle Identity Manager 12C via Oracle Client API.

  • No longer supports Oracle Identity Manager 11g R1 and 11g R2 releases.
