Authentication Method
This section provides the information on creating an API Token and generating the refresh token for the following authentication methods:

Creating an API Token
To configure Atlassian Cloud Jira Service Management an API token for Basic Authentication must be created in the Atlassian system as follows:

Log in to https://id.atlassian.com/manage/api-tokens with the user planned to configure as a service account while configuring Atlassian Cloud Jira Service application in IdentityIQ.

Click Create API Token.

From the dialog that appears, enter a label for the token and click Create.

Click Copy to clipboard and save it to be used later.
Generating Refresh Token, Client ID and Client Secret

While creating tokens using OAuth2 authentication type for Next-gen service desk or Classic service desk type project ensure that you provide following scopes:
