Multi-Factor Authentication Settings

This section contains information that the connector uses to manage Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) configurations.

Note
SailPoint recommends that you do not update MFA attributes with non-MFA attributes in a single request.

  1. Under the MFA Out of Band Policy section select Add Another to create a new policy. You can create a list of policies to add to a user with the corresponding factor associated with the user.

  2. To manage the MFA data, add the list of Special Account Attributes in the following format:

    MFA.MAP.<factor-name>.<IBM-factor-name>

Always set this value to false.

For example, you can enter MFA.MAP.RSA_SecureID.AZFSIDP1, where AZFSID is the original factor name of IBM in AZFxxxxx format to a readable free text name describing the factor, such as RSA_SecureID.

  3. Select Save.
