Prerequisites

Before you configure your credential provider, you must consider the following prerequisite items.

Configure a host for Conjur Cloud.

To do this, complete Lesson 1 through Lesson 8 found in this CyberArk Tutorial. Afterward, generate and fetch the Host Application ID and the Host API key.

The source and the credential provider must be associated with the same virtual appliance cluster.
You can only configure virtual appliance-based sources with credential providers.
