Aggregate Tracking Codes

The Box connector can aggregate tracking codes as additional schema attributes in the account schema.

View and Copy Tracking Codes in the Box System

To view and copy your existing tracking codes:

  1. In the Box system, go to the Admin console.

  2. Go to Enterprises > User Settings > User Tracking Codes.

    The system displays a list of your existing tracking codes.

  3. Copy the tracking codes you want to include in aggregation. These are required for configuration in the SailPoint source configuration.

Add Tracking Codes to Aggregation

Add the tracking code copied from the Box system to the account schema. Adding the tracking code to the account schema enables the connector to include it during aggregation processes.

  1. In the Box source configuration, go to Account Management and then select Account Schema.

  2. Select Add New Attribute.

  3. In the Name field, enter the name of the tracking code copied from Box in the following format.

    tracking_code.<name_from_Box_system>

    For example:

    tracking_code.Country

    Important

    The aggregation process will not include the tracking codes if you do not follow these rules:

    • Use only the format given in these instructions to add the tracking code to the account schema.

    • The tracking code’s values and labels are both case-sensitive.

    • The tracking code label should be exactly as it is in the managed system.

  4. Select Save.
